Hello! This time I used the apple/iphone photo app and fx to edit my photos. I also tried to work on framing and composition this time. There were many and many attempts and more failures than successes. I shoot pointing down and pointing up a lot. I also tried to incorporate perspective as a frame the photos -- I actually play around with perspective alot and you can see that in photos 2, 6, 7, 13. Please let me know what you think!

Recipe for #7
For this photo I used the VSCO cam app for toning. Originally, you could not see the shadows of the branches in the photo. By using the B5/BW Moody filter at +12 and adjusting the contast, I was able to pick up the shadow to create more depth in the photo.

For photos #1, 16, and 18, I used the photo editing app "piclay." It is an awesome app that allows you to layer different photos on top of one another and adjust the opacity to your liking. I really enjoyed playing around with this app to create the feeling of reflecting on a specific memory in the past, which often becomes vague and mixed together with present time. Piclay also allows you put several different "sheet" effects over your photos. I used the blurring sheet on photo 17 to not only make the image appear older, but blurred in my memory.
