I believe you wanna presents some different ideas so I'm going to talk about these separately. My favorite photos are No. 2, 5, 6 and 14. The pair of shoes is absolutely art work for me. I'm not sure the pair of shoes is original design for that or deliberate put them together, but it looks great. If you can rotate 90 degree it would be better because I think people can image that two people are stand vertical and opposite. That would be fantastic. For Pic 5, I really like the composition of the two yellow lines. Looks like is going to blend together. I really like the color contrast of the window glass in Pic 6. And the tiny tower in Pic 14 looks like the extend of the path, its a visual effect. So I really enjoy your work.
K.T., I really like your photos representing peaceful but cool and lonely emotion although some of them use warm colors mainly. Especially countryside photos including your two self portraits such as 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16 look great. You might have used a Bluetooth selfie snapper for photo 9 and 10 which I use. Among these great photos, especially I liked photo 12 and 14. Photo 12, a house is a main object but surroundings are interesting as well. I think you composed this picture very carefully. Because you captured only one tree especially next to the house, then excluded other trees or objects to not to distract the main object. Photo 14 is very simple but compelling. Both golden yellow background and grey structures stand out. Also, the grey road points out the same-colored tower in the middle. Although you didn't solely capture the tower, audiences can easily know the tower is the main subject because all of surroundings help them to focus the tower. I would definitely vote for photo 14 as your POW.
I like how you took the pictures in different angles. I believe an angle is one of the important element in photography. Like photo 1, It looks like there is no end and I could not recognize if this is carpet or embroidery. I think it is hard to tell because of the angle you have chosen. Also, photo 5, I enjoyed to see how the yellow line emphasizes in the front compare to back side of line. I feel like photo 5 has a story in it, I am not really sure what it is about, but I was keep thinking of word break, and passion from this picture. I would like to vote for 5.
I agree with Hong, I think you processed the colors of your photos in a clever way that gives them a lonely but surreal feel. You use a lot of proximity in your composition strategy, which is good but it doesn't give much of a context to your viewers. I think a few of the photos (1&2 specifically) may be too direct, and don't really give your viewers much to look at. I would try to include some environment such as in photos 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, and 16. Photo number 5 is my absolute favorite. I like the angle of view you shot the picture from, because it makes me focus on the lines in the road. The angle also makes the geometric line look like it extends forever. The blue in the sky is a nice contrast to the yellow, and the warmth of the picture gives off an ambient feel. It makes me think you're backpacking or going on a journey to find yourself. It is a very soothing picture, I choose number 5 for your picture of the week.
Wow, I love your photos. There are a lot of strong combinations of color and composition in here. Photo 14 is a good example. The path leading from the foreground to the background brings the eye on a long journey, creating an intriguing composition. The blue tile against the golden field is also really nice. Photo 12 reminds me of an Andrew Wyeth painting. Photo 6 has a nice touch of light to the top of the photo, creating a nice composition. The window creates some juxtaposition of color too. I would have to vote for photo 2 as my favorite. I really like the symmetry and pastel colors within the boots.
I liked the different contrasts you used in each of your photos. Some of your photos are very vibrant, pushing all the color forward. Other photos are more subtle with their color but just as equally appealing. I like photo 1 because of the way you framed the photo. Everything feels very symmetrical and the red and white plays off one another to make me keep following the pattern. I like how you didn’t overly expose the photo because it helps the pattern fade better into the end of the photo. Another photo I liked was photo 14 for almost the same reasons. As I keep looking at the photo it almost seems like the stone continues through the entire photo or it could end in a statue. I don’t really know and that question makes me want to be in that photo to figure it out. I also liked how you expose the photo more and allowed for more vibrancy. The yellow and brown really contrast with the cool grey and blues of the stones. This photo was wonderfully framed to expose the warm tones with the cool tones. I would vote photo 14 for POW.
The location where a lot of your shots seem to come from is beautiful. I really like number 12. The little white house is kind of mysterious in the middle of this big brown field. The colors work well here. My photo of the week for you would have to be 14. I really love the framing of this. When I first looked at it, I thought that the path way went on for a really long time until I realized it led to a monument. I also love the colors here and how the dark path contrasts the brown nature around it.
