  1. I really like your work. I can see some of your work is about where memories or items, such as museums and stone. These very accord with the theme. From the point of shots, I especially like No. 5, I can see the extend coast and wide field of vision, the hillside is a place where we used to go to recall our past. I also think your filter using very reach the designated position, for example, No, 4, 5, 9 and 12 are good samples. The filter using reinforced pictures of memories. The No. 19 and 20 are good B&W images. But I have a little confuse about what exactly the image wanna express to us. They looks like just some antique maybe. I think these could be memory stuff. I'd like choose No. 5 as POW.

  2. Christie, your photo 2 reminds me a retro portrait of Marilyn Monroe. A magazine-quality shot! Photo 13 is also great. A flower and its reflected image create a mystery photo. Additionally, an edge of lightened mirror looks like a mystery circle in the air. A complex structure for photo 17 makes me look at it for a long time. I believe other audiences will do so. I really liked both photo 16 and 20. An artistic door or something makes your self portrait as an art piece, not just regular photos. I don't know you're behind the door or it is an reflected image of yours. You're totally part of this art piece. Additionally, this art piece becomes a frame of photo itself. I really liked photo 16. A door or window or something else is a frame for it. Then, a person doesn't reveal his or her identity and it makes me curious who he/she is. Also, it adds mystery feelings. Cooper and khaki colors look great altogether. Pictures on the wall makes this photo interesting and full. It was really hard to pick only one picture for your POW. I would like to vote photo 16 as your POW.

  3. I really like how you frame each of your photos. You don’t take them in traditional ways and it allows for an interesting space for the photos. I enjoy photo 5 for this reason. I like how I can get a sense of you in the photo but then there is an entirety of a space in the photo. It feels like the photo is layered with different nature areas perfectly. The coloring used in the photos works really well in defining these areas. Photo 7 is also a very pretty photo in that the pink hue in the photo adds an extra flare I wouldn’t normally see in a picture like this. I like photo 20 in that the bars help frame parts of you. The coloring is nice in making you almost disappear in the background. My favorite photo is 9. Again, we get a sense of your perspective due to the hand and we can’t fully tell what the background is. I like how there’s no major color besides the yellow in the flower. This really allows for the image to pop. I would vote photo 9 for POW.

  4. I think your photo 2 is really great work! I wonder how you took that picture. It has interesting angle and composition.I also liked your photo 9 a lot. The yellow flower on your hand is the main objects. And the background is blurred. I think since the background is blurred, I was able to focus on your main object. I think you did good job on editing the colors especially on photo9. The colors created vintage feeling really well. I would like to vote for 9.

  5. I agree with Hong, photo number 2 is so chic and retro- I love it. You compose all of your photos very well, they are among my favorite in the class. You use color perfectly depending on the content of the photo, and use light in ways that I intend to experiment with. I like how the light is reflecting off of the gold item in photo 18, because the light just seems to compliment it- the photo is visually appealing. I like photo 16 because it is dark and mysterious photo (you can't see behind the gate and you have an extrapolated view), yet the moon is so bright it looks like the sun. How did you get this effect? I also like your shallow depth of view in photo 9. I have trouble getting my iPhone to focus in on subjects, so when I try to achieve this effect I blur out the background in a separate app. I think photo number 2 is still your best, however, and i definitely vote it for your POW!

  6. I love the color treatment in your work. Everything has a dark, beautiful, vintage feel to it. I like the processing in photo 10. How did you overlay the transparent colors around the top of the frame? The desaturated variety of colors in photo 9 are really interesting. The yellow flowers are the brightest and most colorful, even though they are not as colorful as they would be in person. The effect used in this photo is really nice. The green fields against the muted sky create a nice juxtaposition. I would have to vote for photo 9 as my favorite.

  7. I love the way you went about toning your photos. The filters you used on #6 and #7 reminded me of when you would get photos developed and the colors and highlights were a little distorted. I thought that was such a cool way to evoke the idea of vintage and extremely unique! My favorite shot of yours and choice for POW would be #18. I found myself trying to figure out what this was for quite some time. At first I though it was a reflection but realized what it actually was. It definitely kept my attention and made me think.
