  1. Morgan, a great collection of photos! The fourth Focus Here photo reminds me my yoga mat. Other photos from the collection looks interesting and automatically let audiences focus in the middle. A set of strong and simple photos! Space is the Place collection is my favorite. The first photo, a familiar photo from your black and white mystery assignment, is the best. Although I am familiar with, it still looks great to me. The middle focus w/ splashing lights and successive pillars. All elements are great! Again, I would like to vote your first photo as your POY (picture of year)!

  2. Morgan -
I like the way you edit your photos. They have a much darker feel to them, even when color is involved. I would vote the very fourth photo in the first chapter as my overall favorite. I like the use (and lack) of light here. It's interesting how the pillars are lit by the background red light. I think you did a really nice job of framing this photo and it worked very well for you. Great job this semester!

  3. Morgan, great job at organizing and naming your chapters. The titles are very clever! Overall, you have an even mix of simplistic and multiplistic photos that are equally engaging to me as a viewer. Your photos have a unique composition in their perspectives, framing techniques, and use of color. You work especially well with light and reflections. For your picture of the year I am voting for the last photo (the photo of the candle) in the chapter "focus here." The darkness that surrounds the candle creates a feeling of emptiness and dread. It makes me question what else is in the environment, who is holding the candle, why they are in the dark, etc. This photo has a lot of emotional qualities to it, so I think it is extremely effective in getting a reaction from your viewers. Great job this semester. :)

  4. Hi Morgan! I think you did a superb job with the variety of photos. Thank you for such an excellent collection. You captured surfaces of objects that the eye do not generally see, hence create awesome and appealings shapes! You capture depth well, the spiraling of your yoga mat, and the fire imitation are all great photos. As for your POW, I think photo 1 should take it home.

  5. Hi Morgan! I think you did good job on organizing photos in each chapter. I realized that your photos have vintage quality somehow. Also, many of your pictures are simple composition but they attracted my eyes a lot! I also like how you played with angles. I would vote for opposite attract chapter, because it seems like the shots in this chapter have two different section in one shot which I loved.

  6. Morgan,
What I really like about your photos is that they are all so unique yet flow together seamlessly in the chapters. You did a great job of toning your photos as well. My favorite chapter would have to be "Focus Here." I really liked that you took all of these photos in this section close up which added a level of mystery to them. My choice for your Picture of the Year is the last photo in the Focus Here chapter. Great work this semester!

  7. Morgan, I love your use of space and framing technique throughout the semester. Your self portraits are all framed incredibly differently, creating a sense of mystery and uniqueness to each. I especially like photo 1 in Smile for the Camera. I like how you are framed in this photo, as well as the desaturated processing. I would have to vote for photo 1 in Space is the Place as my favorite. The lighting is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of the bottom of an ocean floor when the sun is hitting it.
